If you dont want the conveyor-belt style Caribbean wedding
youve seen on the TV in, for example, Barbados or St.
Lucia, then Tobago will offer you a wedding to remember - with
the idyllic setting of your choice, with very probably no one
around but your guests and the minister. We offer some
out of this world examples below.
We're not wedding
organisers, but can offer our honest opinions on what
Tobago is like and where would be great to get married.
We have loads of contacts and may be able to help put
you in the right direction, and even get you discounts
on your accommodation.
We have been to
almost all the hotels
and villas featured on this website and know of romantic
settings where you can exchange your vows. Our
research service is free.

A special
island
Tobago is definitely an island for those who want to really
get away from it all. It has all the ingredients a newly
married couple wanting romance and something special could
want.
- if you wanted to find a beach to yourselves, you can
- if you want to find spectacular views, sunrises, sunsets, to sit and watch together with no other tourists about, you can
- if you want to experience warmth and genuine friendliness from the local people, you will
- if you want to get married somewhere that is less like a wedding production line than the usual places, Tobago won't disappoint you
You really are spoilt for choice for venues - the wedding photos will look fabulous, and the choice for reception ranges from the best hotels to local historical cafes, or perhaps youd like a lobster and champagne picnic on the beach. You choose. Most of the
hotels featured in this website do wedding packages and can make
all the arrangements for you.

A lot of people who contact us
want to know how to organise a 'DIY' wedding - something
private, romantic, and individual. Tobago is ideal for this -
but we know that organising any wedding, let a lone one that
is thousands of miles away, can be a real headache, and you
want to get on that plane knowing that you can relax and enjoy
the experience, and that you won't be writing letters of
complaint when you get home. Weddings
at Castara Retreats, Tobago There
are plenty of options in Tobago for weddings - but we only
tell you about organisations and people we know or have had
recommended to us from trusted sources. For a fabulously
unique wedding in a tropical idyll - the Caribbean Sea over
one shoulder and an historic rainforest over the other - we
can recommend our colleagues at Castara Retreats - Sue and
Steve Felgate - and their trusted staff. You can't get a
higher recommendation than those who've 'been there, done
that' - and Sue and Steve have, getting married in Tobago
themselves. So - take a look at the link on their website and
go from there - knowing you're in safe hands. www.castararetreats.com/weddings.htm

their website where you can find more details and prices about

the rest.......... Almost
all the accommodations we feature on this website can arrange
weddings and honeymoons for you. They all have
different locations, features and prices, and we've inspected

don't feature the big hotels - just the smaller ones where you

price. There's no point in contacting us about Coco Reef
or Hilton weddings - your queries are best directed at the
establishments themselves.
