This Tobago accommodation is located inland on the northern side of the island. It’s about 30-45 min away from the airport (depending on traffic).

The area is beautifully quiet and is a home away from home, less than 2 miles from Tobago’s Caribbean coast as the crow flies.

This is away from the tourist hotspots of Tobago and you are advised to hire a car if you wish to explore – something Jane and Ronald can help you arrange. But – Tobago is only 7 miles wide so nothing is very far away.

Out and About

Tobago’s name places are thought-provoking reminders of its history, and the name Les Coteaux reflects the heritage left by the French in this part of the island.

The area is full of historical sites and interesting places to visit, with old water wheels and the ruins of sugar mills evidence of Tobago’s slave trade used to support the sugar plantation owners.

This is also an area perfect for twitchers. Tobago has an abundance of colourful wildlife, especially birds, and this is a perfect setting to sit back and enjoy the display.

The main house, swimming pool and 3 cabanas are located on the ridge of a hill overlooking the southwest Caribbean coastline of tiny Tobago. Each of the buildings is located at a different level on the hill. The views are second to none. You can enjoy 6 acres of flower gardens, fruit trees, jungle vegetation and walking paths.

It takes 7 minutes to walk to one of Tobago’s best snorkeling beaches on the island at Arnos Vale, 25 minutes to drive to Tobago’s airport, or to the tourist facilities on the south end of the island or the fishing villages on the west coast.

The main house is a full family home with two bedrooms and a den, each with their own en suite bathroom. One of the bedrooms – the twin bed room – has the benefit of air conditioning.  The property is surrounded by 4 private patios which open to make a larger living space that just flows from in to outside with flower drenched tropical colours. You have a breathtaking 360° view of the surrounding Caribbean Tobago coast, hills and valleys.

Each cabana is a fully self-contained living suite with its own kitchen and dining facilities, air conditioning, patio and garden, and access to a swimming pool.

This is a stunning family villa on Tobago’s southwesterly coastline, with ocean views, and accommodating up to 12 guests in style and comfort. A pool, jacuzzi, nearby secluded beach, and over an acre of tropical gardens all make this a very desirable Tobago holiday accommodation.

Facilities

Seabreeze Villa is on Tobago’s seafront and sleeps 12. It’s an extremely popular accommodation, with amazing views of the Atlantic. A wide verandah along two sides of the house provides a scenic 180° view of the ocean.

Almost everything in the villa is new including furniture, beds and white goods. There’s a well maintained pool and jacuzzi. The villa has six air-conditioned bedrooms and six bathrooms, with accommodation for up to ten people.

For flexibility and privacy the villa is built on two main levels, an upper and a pool level, with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms on each. Both have private entrances so if you book as a group or with friends, you can have your own bit of space if need be.

On the upper floor is a fully equipped kitchen, living area with windowed sliding doors that open onto the verandah making one large and breezy living space which is fabulous in the Tobago tropical heat. There’s also a large patio for sunbathing by the pool and al fresco dining in the evening.

The lower level has three bedrooms, a small kitchen and pretty living room with French windows opening out onto the pool area.

Special Features

Tobago’s Bacolet Bay was the setting used for the film ‘Swiss Family Robinson’. The privately owned villa sits in an acre of lush tropical gardens, with Caribbean plants and fruit trees. In season, help yourself to mangoes and limes, banana, avocado and grapefruits.

Bacolet, Tobago is a quiet residential area in the more affluent part of the island. Restaurants, shops, beaches and attractions are just a short drive away. Two excellent golf courses are a 5 minute drive away. Caribbean coastline beaches are a short drive away, as is the historic Fort George and some of Tobago’s best hotels and restaurants.

Each pretty villa has 3 double bedrooms all with big en suite bathrooms and large showers. Thoughtful details and essentials for holidaymakers are provided throughout – hairdryers, mosquito coils and fluffy towels, etc.

There’s free Wi-Fi, TV and DVDs, and cooling fans in each room. Each villa also has a dedicated attendant who comes in every day for 5 hours to clean, wash clothes and is available to cook or baby-sit. You really do feel pampered without intrusion.

Exotic birds in the gardens provide nature’s entertainment with their stunning colours, and the beach, just yards in front of your villa, is where the turtles come to lay their eggs. If you ask them to, staff will wake you to see this spectacular sight if it happens at night.

Roll-out beds and cots available for children at no extra cost. The pool and beach can be seen from the villas’ balconies. You can have a local cook to rustle up a delicious Tobagonian feast for you if you wish. These are really beautiful villas with superb staff and management and in an incredible location. Some of the island’s best restaurants are a short walk away.

The staff at Tobago’s Plantation Beach Villas are keen for you to be able to have that rare treat of spotting a turtle on the beach during your stay, whilst at the same time being careful to protect these magnificent animals. Turtle watching season in Tobago starts beginning of March each year. If you’re lucky – it’s a wonderful sight and a privilege to see.

These pretty pink and white Tobago villas are built in the British colonial style, share a lovely pool and beach bar, and are separated from a beautiful beach by just a hedge. Each villa is privately situated, and set in lush tropical gardens that overlook the pool and beach.

The large, open plan living space expands further with one wall opening entirely to reveal a 40ft wrap-around teak verandah with patio furniture and another dining table for an al fresco breakfast, lunch or dinner.

There are 6 villas in total, which can be hired individually or in multiples for large family gatherings or for a Tobago wedding.
Simply Tobago loves these villas – the feature we loved most was the 40ft wrap around teak verandah. You just open the folding doors from your living room and there is the Caribbean Sea.

The verandah makes the living area huge, and is a wonderful spot to relax, enjoy a cocktail or have breakfast and just watch the wildlife around you.

At night, you go to sleep to the sound of the waves on the shore. How good can it get? What we love about this accommodation, apart from its superb location and the beauty of the buildings, is that you have the freedom and privacy of a luxury villa, but with the discreet service of a top hotel if and when you want it.

Out and About

If you want to cater for yourself you can buy groceries from nearby mini-marts, roadside fresh fruit stalls, and even fresh fish like mahi-mahi as the catch is brought up from the beach.

Nearby are some of Tobago’s finest restaurants. There’s a beach right in front of you. You can go to sleep listening to the waves on the Caribbean shore. The Western Hemisphere’s oldest rainforest is half an hour one way. The main town of Scarborough with it historical fort is 15 minutes the other way.

This is a fabulous Tobago location and accommodation choice, with superb staff. We’ve stayed here and absolutely loved it.
